NOTE: I'm asking this in etiquette because I feel this is the best forum.
Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac was a very intelligent, attractive woman and a gifted doctor, estranged boyfriend William Moodie said.
In fact, her attention to detail and connections within the medical community resulted in Moodie getting a new heart valve, Moodie said Wednesday evening. She listened to his chest, noticed something was wrong, and drove him to UCLA Medical Center to meet with the chief of cardiothoracic surgery.
That doctor agreed with Kotarac and the heart valve was replaced, Moodie said.
"She was absolutely brilliant as a doctor," he said.
Kotarac's badly decomposed body was found Saturday wedged in the chimney of Moodie's house. Bakersfield police believe she had been there about three days, since trying to force her way into the house on the evening of Aug. 25.
Kotarac, 49, showed up at the house that night and Moodie, not wanting a confrontation, slipped out the back door when she arrived, police said. She apparently used a shovel to try to force open the back door of the home in the 4300 block of La Mirada Drive, police said.
Moodie, 58, spent the night someplace else, according to police.
At some point, Kotarac used a ladder to get to the roof, removed the chimney cap and slid down the flue feet first, police said. Her body was found stuck near the bottom of the flue. The coroner's office reported she died from being unable to breathe and her death was an accident. Police said Moodie was never a suspect.
Moodie declined to talk about his relationship with Kotarac or what their status was as a couple when she showed up that night.
But he's tired of people saying negative things about her and said it's time to leave her alone.
"She made a horrendously bad decision and paid for it with her life," Moodie said.
He remembers Kotarac, whom he knew for three to three and a half years, as a tremendously giving person who even provided free medical service to some people. Kotarac, a 1991 graduate of UCLA Medical School, was an internal medicine doctor who worked out of an office on San Dimas Street.
As far as hobbies, she was a lifelong fan of equestrian events and owned horses when she was younger. Moodie said he and Kotarac attended a horse jumping competition in Las Vegas, and she often went to see horses race.
Although her busy schedule often didn't allow it, Kotarac also loved to travel, Moodie said.
Police said Kotarac had an airplane ticket to go to Amsterdam with Moodie the Friday after she went missing. Moodie and an office assistant of Kotarac's searched his house Thursday and reported her missing to police because her car and purse were there.
Moodie spent the night at his home Thursday and then went on the trip. Police searched the home Friday evening, but found nothing.
It wasn't until a woman checking on Moodie's fish tank noticed a foul odor Saturday and inspected the chimney flue that Kotarac's body was discovered.
Moodie said he's been staying in hotels since returning to Bakersfield and he won't live in the house. He said he'll have it repaired -- the chimney had to be dismantled to remove the body -- but he imagines there will be some issues selling the home with the notoriety it now has.
Moodie said it's been a difficult time, and Kotarac's death has had an enormous impact on him.
"I feel this incredible sense of loss," he said. "It's very hard to accept the fact that she's gone."

ATM there is Cats, Dogs, Fish, Birds, Horses, Replies, Rodents & Other but this seems not enough!
I recommend merging the Horses Section with Farm Animals/Livestock & Adding Amphibians to the Reptiles link (Reptiles and Amphibians)
Also add Aqutic ife with Fish . . .
It seems many people are confused of where to put specific pet threads like Frogs and Crabs etc because there isn't a Insect & Other / Amphibian Forum!
Any of you guys agree!?

I already use Katz (when it's up), 'rsdon.co.cc', and 'twistysdownload.com'. Does any one have any other good suggestions?
(I'm trying to download Medium season 5, which rsdon has but in LQ, and I can't find it with working links anywhere else except torrents, which I dislike).

No matter how irrelevant to some Bible-related question posted in this forum, I've noticed that a number of the answers can be counted upon to bring up "How about the part that mentions a talking snake?" or some alleged belief in unicorns or the ever-popular "the Bible thinks bats are birds and whales are fish". What is the story behind this "habit"? Is it a kind of "protest" among those who dislike the Bible (or perhaps dislike those Christians/Jews who are interested in the Bible)? Or is it a way to joke about the many traditional urban legends related to the Bible? (Or is there some kind of assumption that these are actually profound observations?) Do these types of answers win "points" among fellow detractors? Or is it just an American brand of sarcasm?
I ask if this is some sort of American joke or habit because when I taught in the UK (and read religious forums there), I don't recall hearing/seeing so many of these irrelevant "observations".
===================================
>"You think those examples are urban legends?"
I have a D.Phil. in the field and a much of a lifetime as a professor of religious studies, including Biblical exegesis. So, yes, I'm very familiar with the popular misunderstandings by the uneducated in confusing the one-horned wild ox [technically LOOKING like a single horn] which the King James TRANSLATION rendered (correctly in a literal sense) with the Latin "unicorn" ["one horn"]. The uneducated think that UNICORN always means the unicorn of Greek mythology and/or the cute little pony with the spiralled horn in the middle of the forehead. Yes, a lot of urban legends related to the Bible are based on linguistic ignorance, translation fallacies, and anachronistic taxonomies and lexicography. I could likewise explain similar nonsense concerning the "bats are birds" and "whales are fish" mockery -- expected with non-major undergrads but not among the educated.

JEANCOMMUNICATES has a novel outlook on these topics. Interesting! Yes, even just a few years ago who would have thought it likely that such things could exist LITERALLY in the laboratory?

It seems to me that a lot of the questions asked in this forum are easily and quickly answered by simple plugging the question into a search engine or heading to the wiki site. I understand the community thing but why choose this route and through in the wait that's required to receive a dozen answers from which you have to fish through in the hopes that the one you chose is the correct one?
i.e. The person that had a homework question about the rarest element in the periodic table. Why would you trust a faceless person to answer a question such as that instead of turning to a science site that will give you a verifiable answer straight away. Wiki may not be perfect, but it beats asking a stranger on the street. I'm sorry but I just trust the yahoos around Yahoo to help me pass a test.

Ok so my big bro refuses to believe he is a gigantic nerd despite me telling him many times on several occasions. I would like to know some of the general public's opinions in this poll, no matter what you think. So:
He is unemployed
He breeds snakes
He is on the internet for over 5 hours a day ( generally forums, often snake related)
He watches documentarys a lot. Always about snakes.
He plays Call of Duty online EVERY day for over 4 hours.
He likes keeps fish ( Chichlids i think they are called. Tropical kind)
So what do you think? Nerd or Normal?
PS I have no problem with him being a nerd at all. He's my brother and i'll accept him however he chooses to be, but he is convinced he isn't. I'm worried if he brings a girl home and thinks he's cool, but he isnt and he is left looking foolish.

I've never paid much attention to Biblical prophecy, however I have to admit that today events seem to be unfolding in a way that is pretty unsettling. The ones in Ezekial and Revelations seem to be marching right down the line chronologically to right here. Yeah I know....been saying that for two thousand years....but it's only in this time that the last of them have unfolded and it's only in this time that the human race has been in a position to make himself extinct. Just paraphrasing, it talks about Iran and allience with the great north ( Russia ) ....already done, and just today Russia and Iran announced that the nuclear enrichment facility in will be loading uranium rods next week and online in two. More prophecy talks about Isreal becoming it's own nation again after two thousand years of exile...happened in 1948. It also talks about Israel being surrounded by her enemies later on...just look at a map...
Other things are what's referred to as a falling away, where people become cynical, arrogant, and begin to believe they have usurped god's authority. Just look at forums like the ones here...
And the economic meltdown in " the young lion " which is America.
I'm just saying...it seems like we're heading towards something. There's a sort of feeling of malaise in almost everyone I know.
It reminds me of what Kierkaguard said " The greatest reality must by definition appear unreal in order to reveal itself for the same reason one cannot ask the fish anything about the nature of water. Those confronted by it the most will understand it the least in thought if not in spirit. "
So, is this it or what?

Not with my contacts or the good users in general but the stalkers and trolls. Over the last couple months they've been hunting me down like crazy. I never seen this many trolls targeting me before. If you don't believe me folks these trolls have been doing all the little things to agitate me. These buffoons run like rats every day, posting questions about me, report the questions that hardly contain any censor, and duplicate the questions I post in a matter of seconds.
Here are some conflicts that I've encountered:
A couple weeks ago I posted a question whether or not it would have been nice if Mauer and Garza would spend a day fishing in Cabo when I was literally making a joke out of the MLB commercial. Obviously this guy didn't have a clue what I was talking about because ultimately he reported the question.
Another incident that occurred between me and another person was one of my anagrams. The rule to the game was to unscramble every player's name correctly (spelling included) and that the person who unscramble everything right would be rewarded the best answer. But one guy who went through the trouble of unscrambling every player's name right spouted off after I had informed him of his misspelling and acknowledged his disgust the following day when I posted another anagram.
Speaking of anagrams, that leaves us with today's incident. A few hours ago, I stumbled upon a question and witnessed a non-troll but a regular user duplicating my classic game. Ever since then, I've been in fumes with her. If that wasn't bad enough, a troll's been copying my game too.
Words can't express how I feel about everything that has transpired with this forum lately. Sometimes I feel like I'm in second grade again.
If you guys can do me a favor, can you enlighten me a little bit and tell me your latest experiences.

My little brother went to a supermarket today and bought a fish, there were no assistants there(yeah, would you believe it?) so he just bought it.
He thinks it's a betta fish but I don't think so.
It looks a little bit like this,
it has different types of colours, like red, greenish-pink, blue, red-blue and a really dark purple(nearly blue)
If it IS a betta fish, what food can I feed it? How much? What types of fishes can he live with? Can he live with a seahorse? The aquarium's pretty small(a little bit bigger than a shoebox- with no filter), and the fish is about 2 inch.
Thanks.
Pytanie #17:
can you get too much hunting and fishing?
my cousin who is 16 all he does is sit and talk and think about hunting and fishing dont get me wrong i love them both but only in moderation.
BUT heres the catch as far as hunting, he wont ever just take say 20 dollars worth of .22 shells and go shooting he says its a pointless waste of time and expesnive.
he wonnt take a shot with his bow over 40 yards because he says thats to far of a shot to ethically kill a deer with and its a waste of arrows because he misses. he wont take some old aluminum arrows that his dad used to use and use them and have fun like maybe try to shoot the pigeon out of the barn with a snaro broad head because they dont fit his bow so it owuld be pointless he just wont have any fun.
and then he would sacrifice all of his time with friends and family just for hunting and fishing. his fishing is more importanant then spening time with friends and going swimming or going to prom (now yes i went to prom one time and experienced it and i wont go back but he wont try it)
he also gets on hunting and fishing forums and talks to old guys about hunting and fishing for hours and thinks its fun.
he just turned 16 and got his license he wont even do a quick doughnut in nice gravel he says it burns gas... i know everyone on here liked to hot rod when they first got their license
will he burn out and hate hunting and fishing eventually? should be grow up annd live a little? sory for ranting in the hunting section but you guys have good ideas here i like hearing your responses
he cant even have fun hunting or fishing either hes all serious and needs all the latest gear and trends
but then along with the shooting the .22 part he claims hes a good enough shot and says he doesnt even need to test fire his rifle before season... i dont care how good you are you should fire your gun before the hunt every year to make sure its all working correct

Why is it that in some korean people (i'm just specifying koreans becuase i've noticed this in my newfound love for kpop) harbor such rediculously contradictory opinions? here are a few that i've noticed:
they like stereotypical black culture, but lots of them don't like blacks
they like it when male kpop idols act extremely feminine, but they don't like gays
they want their women to be stick skinny and perfect looking, but they despise plastic surgery
they are firmly against racism against koreans or asians in general, but they tend to be racist against americans and black people (or people that have darker skin)
they thin they go around and insult different american artists and have no one have a problem with it, but if you diss a group like snsd, they go crazy
they listen to american music and tend to like american things, but they hate america, and are always cruely dissing american artists
i always hear that koreans love having white friends and such, but apparently they really don't like white people?
those are just a few. i know that not all koreans are like this, it's just a few tendencies that i've noticed in my aformentioned new found love of kpop. to korean people, or anyone that wants to answer, why are these contradictions so prevalent, and how do korean people feel about them? are they proud of these things, or do some of them look down on it? i was just wondering becuase, well, honestly, lots of comments i've found on a few websites (forums, youtube, allkpop, etc.) suggest that these contradictions are seen as ok. .
to everyone, please don't be offended, i love korean culture (well most of it) and the people seem nice. i still noticed these contradictions tho. srry.
btw, i know that there is a difference in these things depending on whether or not someone's korean american or born and raised in korea. again, not trying to offende people. and please, no ignorant answers, i'm not fishing for a fight with people. :)

This subject has been debated in this forum several times, and someone answers "he ate this or that" but does not provide the Bible passage where they got the information. I'm certainly no Bible expert, but I can't recall any Bible that refers to Jesus eating anything. There are passages about him being present where fish, bread and wine are served. But can anyone come up an actual Bible chapter and verse that mentions Jesus eating food of any kind?
That's not an answer, Miguel. If you aren't interested in the subject, why do you bother to answer? Whether Jesus existed or not doesn't have anything to do with my question.
Thank you, Lori, that's what I was looking for.
I should have worded the original question a little better, I meant to ask if there was any reference in the Bible about what Jesus ate. My point is that I don't think there is any reference to what he ate. The best we can do is assume he ate the same kind of food that other Jewish people ate at that time and place, but no one can really give any specifics.

She was a three-spot gourami I had for two years and she started acting really odd (but my other seemed fine and still does) I have looked online at forums, on fish care sites and cannot find what was wrong with her. She one day started swimming around the tank frantically and hitting the glass and it freaked me out. She would go back and forth zooming across and hitting glass and after that she'd just stop in one place not swimming until she started to jerk about and swim in the shape of a tire and two days later jumped out of the tank. ::( To any fish owner or expert does this sound familiar?
Pytanie #27:
Whenever I talk to a liberal about the president, his administration, or even just their own ideas in general, I never hear anything other than pointless rhetoric. And very unrealistic, ideally minded rhetoric at that. They've truly mastered the art of dodging "ambush questions" like "what should be done about the 1100 illegals in a single county in Arizona who have committed violent crimes against Americans?" or "why isn't Obama putting the health care forums on TV like he promised?" or "why can't we read the health care bill until it's passed? (like Pelosi said)"
@ Otis and Fed Up
Okay, then why did Obama try to keep the public from seeing the health care forums? Why couldn't people read the bill until it was passed? Are questions like that rhetoric to you? Let's see your "concise answer".
@ Fed Up
Thank you for actually posting answers the the questions posted. I really do appreciate it (and I mean that literally, not sarcastically)
@ Beardog
Maricopa County Arizona actually, smartass. And no they don't have a right to due process in our courts because they're ILLEGAL aliens. As soon as they're discovered to be illegals they should be sent back where they came from.
And no, back when the health care forums started they wouldn't put them on television. The only reason they did is because the administration was called out for being liars. I'm actually surprised they went ahead and did it, cause Eric Cantor made Obama look like a complete idiot.
And no, it wasn't possible to read the entire health care bill at the time. They ADMITTED that this was the case. I don't care if you're dumb enough to have gotten on the internet, found some of it, and then felt content. And that's not the only dumb thing Pelosi's said. Most things that come out of her mouth are pretty stupid. Like when they caught her ON CAMERA telling people that it's okay, they can quit jobs they don't like and pursue their hobbies and passions because they'll still have their health care covered.

I have got A LOT of conflicting answers from various people on this one so I figured I might as well ask here too. People on online forums typically say no to everything I ask and this was a HELL NO!
My mother's boyfriend has spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on many, many fresh and saltwater tanks in the past and he says he personally kept a snowflake eel in one of his reef tanks and it did not bother any of the medium to large sized fish/inverts, he said just use your head about the matter.
A lady a Petco told me he WOULD eat the smaller inverts and less likely, but possibly the small fish but just to stay away from inverts all together to be safe.
And like I said, online everything is a "no dont do it".
So has anyone here kept a snowflake eel in a Reef aquarium without any harm to corals/inverts/anemones/medium fish? I do really want the Eel, but not at the expense of introducing Godzilla(the eel) to Tokyo(a reef aquarium), if you catch my drift.
Also, if the Snowflake would possibly pose too much of a problem, is it possible that I could seek out a different type of eel or oddball fish to add to a community reef aquarium? Nothing that gets bigger than the snowflake though.

I recently posted a question on how to deal with a boss that doesn't like me heating up my rice bowls in the microwave. They have rice, carrots, black eyed peas, ginger and mushrooms. She kept saying one day how "sensitive" she was to them. I asked if she is allergic to ginger and she said no. She was basically saying she thought they smelled gross, but really it's not like it's THAT strong of a smell. I have to smell gross as heck stuff like chicken salad and tuna fish coming from other co-workers. She did apologize, saying she knows she has gross smelling food sometimes. The advice on got on this forum and from another co-worker is not to let her bully me and just ignore her. I actually haven't had a rice bowl since, because I've just been burnt out on them..
Today I went to heat up some mac n' cheese and out of the blue she says she really appreciates me not bringing those rice bowls anymore and she felt like such a jerk saying anything. I am thinking, "I stopped bringing them, so just leave it alone! Geez!" Then she said, "If you ever want to bring them again, just let me know and I will just step out of the kitchen." I said something noncommittal like, "No problem. I have just been a little burnt out on them and have been trying to eat fresh stuff."
So, she is making it pretty clear (in a super passive-aggressie way) that she thinks I shouldn't eat them at work.I find this so rude and absolutely aggravating, considering she has no allergies. I am planning to give a 30 day notice in August to go back to school. Does the advice to keep bringing them still stand, or should I just not bring them ever again to keep the peace from now until Sept, considering she is bringing it up out of the blue for no reason whatsoever. I am so irritated right now!
@Mislabeled The bowls are not considered exotic, no more exotic than mexican food, tuna fish, and garlic that other co-workers and my boss prepare, without commentary from anyone, no matter how stro. Still, I hear what you are saying, so I probably just won't bring them to be polite.
What I am saying here is, I haven't brought them in 2 weeks, since her last complaint. So, is it proper ettiquette for her to bring it up again today. I am feeling nitpicked at. I stopped bringing them, so let it go. And don't tell me I can bring them, but you are going to step out of the kitchen. Also, she is the only one who has ever complained. Other co-workers say they feel unless it's super strong fish in the microwave, we are all entitled to eat what we like. I do see your point, and maybe if she is this opposed to it, it's not worth my time and energy arguing. I do however think if she really appreciates it, she should stop bringing it up and making me feel uncomfortable! I am just trying to eat!

I was just on a forum and saw two people getting into a debate. A christian had this to say in his argument against evolution
"Nobody has ever observed a horse turn into a dog, or a fish into a whale. At this rate of reasoning why won't a bicycle turn into a motorcycle if left in the garage long enough? Dawkins actually believes that if you were to walk in a forest and randomly find a stopwatch having never seen one before, that if given enough time the components could self assemble into that functional watch. I hope my Xbox evolves into a Xbox 360 soon cause I want some new video games."
Now, I've heard some pretty dumb arguments before. But I think this one is pretty bad.

Haven't gotten back into the pool in a while but I'm currently doing P90X right now. I'm a total beginner when it comes to training so I decided it was best for me to pick up a program that was ready-to-go. I've modified it slightly to suit my needs. Anyhow, here's my diet:
I eat no more than 1 plate of food a meal(usually a bowl because I eat rice).
This is the norm:
Breakfast:
-1 glass of water
-1 cup of Kashi cereal with what I assume to be an equal amount of 1% milk
-2 eggs with rice/bread
-1 serving of fruit
Lunch:
-Glass of Water
-The bowl equivalent of a 12" plate. I eat 1 cup of white(216 Cal/cup), long grain rice with some thing that is either seafood, lean chicken/pork/beaf, or veggie-soup
-1 slice whole grain bread
-handful of nuts when I can
-1 serving of fruit
Dinner:
-Same as lunch but more likely to be with fish
Before Bed:
- portion of cheese and bread with milk for muscle
-Veggies usually are spinach, broccoli, or romaine lettuce that I eat plain to avoid dressing but man, spinach plain is terrible.
I'm very much on eating healthy(mainly for longevity).
Things to note:
-I've been having trouble controlling portions recently, I'll usually eat another 1/4 bowl
-I've been replacing half of my WHITE rice with whole wheat bread. So 2 slices of bread, and 1 cup.
-I tried eating brown rice but it doesn't taste the best. Recently I bought a bag and am trying to slowly integrate it into my meals.
-I tried eating smaller meals more frequently but that did not go well. I have trouble with eating until I'm satiated.
-I drink 3/4 gallon of water a day.
I'm almost 20, stand at 6'1", weight 173ish and do my best to strength train 5x/week. Planning to start swimming 3+ times a week again.
I've just learned about counting Macros and was wondering if there was a simpler way to ensure I'm eating sufficient macros without having to calculate everything. I've read several times that "eyeballing" food doesn't work.
I calculated my BMR to be 1900 Cal and my Daily caloric needs to be at 3000 Cal(moderate exercise 5x/week) - 3000 is probably an over estimation. I did one previously at bodybuilding.com and it yielded 1900 for my BMR and 2700 for my Daily.
Any feedback is appreciated. I know "cals in vs cals out" is most important. I do want to make sure I get my macronutrients but have a proper deficit in caloric intake.
Thanks for the help.

I want to plant my aquarium really badly, but I have fish that will probably tear up/eat plants. I don't mind fixing their mess, but plants at my LFS are $10 and up. It could get very expensive. I tried finding a forum local to my area so maybe I could trade other fish-keepers, but no luck, only found saltwater forums.
Are there any alternatives that might help me out?

Do American blacks know this is still going on? Should we ship Jesse Jackson over there to find out what is going on? What will Jesse do when he can't find any white people?

" Sinafasi Makelo, a representative of Mbuti pygmies, told the UN's Indigenous People's Forum that during the Congo Civil War, his people were hunted down and eaten as though they were game animals. In neighbouring North Kivu province there has been cannibalism by a group known as Les Effaceurs ("the erasers") who wanted to clear the land of people to open it up for mineral exploitation.[20] Both sides of the war regarded them as "subhuman" and some say their flesh can confer magical powers.[21] Makelo asked the UN Security Council to recognise cannibalism as a crime against humanity and an act of genocide.
In the Republic of Congo, where Pygmies make up 5 to 10% of the population, many Pygmies live as slaves to Bantu masters. The nation is deeply stratified between these two major ethnic groups. The Pygmy slaves belong from birth to their Bantu masters in a relationship that the Bantus call a time-honored tradition. Even though the Pygmies are responsible for much of the hunting, fishing and manual labor in jungle villages, "

Hi, i would like to set up a 10 gallon brackish aquarium. I would really like to get a puffer. I have been to numerous care sheets online and they have different information. I have thought about getting a Green Spotted Puffer or a Figure 8. (one care sheet stated you could house 12 in a 20 gallon)
Most of the care sheets saying they need bigger tanks say that they need a bigger tank because they have a rather large bio load. Could you tell me if the following idea would work and keep either puffer in a 10 gallon happy.
I thought to decrease the bio load i could run 2 filters in the tank (one on either side), also i thought about getting a few live plants for the tank. Also due to the fact they get bored i thought i could buy a few caves, and a hamster tunnel (idea i got from a forum, they said they love to swim through it.)
A few other questions:
1) What plants would work in a brackish aquarium
2) Could i get 2 clean up crew type fish? If so what kind.
3) Witch of the 2 puffers would work best in a 10 gallon?
4) Any other puffers (NO DWARF) that i could keep in a 10 gallon
5) Any other advise or information that could help me.

Out here in Southern California where I Iive, the radio is saturated with ads (often disguised as health disussion forums)(fora?) about the purported benefits of something called "fish oil."
I, fifty-six and recovering from multiple problems associated with diabetes (now well under control), became a non-Vegan vegetarian two years ago this week, more for philosophical reasons (ALL LIFE IS SACRED, for which reason this old Marxist is also totally anti-abortion, which has cost me many friendships among my fellow hard-Leftists) than for health reasons, although my physical and mental health seems to be benefitting enormously.
So, always on the lookout for ways to further improve my health, I ask: Is fish oil that good for human health? Obviously, it isn't good for the fish! Is the fish oil mania just a lot of c__p? If is really good for human health, are there vegetable or botanical substitutes that can deliver th same benefits without having to kill the poor fish?
I find that just by eating well (meaning no meat, fish, or fowl), seems to be very good for me and I never find myself feeling deprived of some nutrient or other.
So then, is fish oil just the latest hucksterism?

I recently got a 26 gallon tropical fish tank (planning on converting it to brackish water) off of a friend and wanted to get 1 or maybe 2 figure eight puffer fish since I have fallen in love with their looks and personalities but am unsure, would like to ideally can anyone advise me ? I have done LOADS AND LOADS of research but I am unsure about a few things like how to cycle the tank and when I read about it on all of the puffer forums but I just get really confused.. Also I have small pebbles (not small enough for them to eat) and a 104 fluval filter are these ok or do I need something else, if I need a different filter then I wont be able to have puffers as a new filter will cost tooooo much for me… My biggest question is what and when exactly should I feed them… Also can anyone tell me how much does it cost to feed one or two figure eight puffer fish a week/month….? I have had the tank running for about 2/3 weeks now with one plant in it at the moment as I am still researching about figure eight puffers and want to get it just right for them hence all the questions…. Finally when I do the water changes how much would you recommend for a 26 gallon tank as when I suggested to my mum about a 50% weekly water change she thought I was mad so would I maybe get away with doing a 25% water change. And when I do the water changes do I need to test the ammonia and nitrate after.. How often should I test for ammonia and nitrate? And I should remove the puffer fish when doing the water changes right? And how often should I do the 100% water change when I clean the tank fully. How much salt should I use for figure eight puffers in a 26 gallon tank. And I was thinking of using instant ocean marine salt but was wondering is there any other salt I can use which is cheaper but works just as well. Finally can anyone tell me how much it cost for everything for the tank and setup (not including the tank) There is a lot of questions I no but I have an obsession with them (cant stop reading and researching about them) but I wont get them If there just going to die or be unhappy so I want to know exactly everything about them as the internet and that say different things so I would really appreciate some help… PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.

Ive made a fishing forum about a month ago and ive tried advertising it on youtube by sending messages to people to join it. Ive gotten about 20 people by doing that but i had to sent over 100 messages. Should i stick with sending the messages or is there another place or type of advertising i can do? I have already sent it to several search engines.
